Wally 7.0 - Data Sync, Item Groups, Zoom, and more

Wally 7.0 is out, with a brand new item store, that syncs over iCloud to all your devices, and that lets you mix items and create custom item groups. Plus you can now zoom in on details.

New Data Store

Wally 7 replaces its old way of storing items to use Apple’s latest data persistency tool - Swift Data! This provides you with a whole new freedom when creating items.

Wally now lets you add custom item groups, add many different types of items to the same group, and move items between groups as you need.

Wally will also sync your items between all your devices, using iCloud. This means that anything you add on your iPad will automatically be available on your iPad.

Date Migrations

Changing the data storage mechanisms of an app is always a bit scary, and this is no exception. We will automatically copy your old items to the new store, so you don’t have to think about it.

If, however, the data migration doesn’t work as expected, please let us know and we’ll fix it. We do not remove your old data, so we can always fix any problems if needed.

Zoom

A long requested feature is being able to zoom in on expanded items. This is now possible, to give you more control over how you view your items.

Premium Adjustments

We have also listened to your feedback regarding the Premium features and the subscription price.

Wally 7 will let you create as many cards as you want for free. You will however need to update to Premium to add other item types, and to use features like item groups, skins, etc.
